Definitions
- Resident Students must comply with all hostel rules.
- Non-resident students are also required to follow applicable regulations.
- Roommates share responsibility for maintaining their room.
Safety Regulations
- No tampering with electrical power points.
- Only approved electrical appliances with SAFETY Mark are allowed.
- One extension plug per resident.
- Fire exits and corridors must remain clear.
- Flammable and explosive items are strictly prohibited.
Roll Call & Lights Out
- Sunday–Thursday: Roll Call 10:30 PM
- Friday–Saturday: Roll Call 11:30 PM
- Lights Out: 11:00 PM
- Saturday & Public Holiday Eve: 12:00 Midnight
Visitors
- Visitors must register with Hostel Management.
- No overnight visitors.
- Opposite gender is not allowed inside bedrooms.
- Unauthorized visitors may incur penalties.
Hygiene
- Keep rooms clean and tidy.
- No littering.
- Maintain good personal hygiene.
- Common areas must remain clean.
Care of Property
- No alteration to room or furniture.
- Residents are responsible for damages.
- Do not use adhesive tapes or nails on walls.
- Report damages immediately.
Security
- Lock doors when leaving.
- Do not duplicate room keys.
- Lost keys are chargeable.
- Hostel is not liable for personal belongings.
Prohibited Activities
- Smoking
- Alcohol
- Illegal drugs
- Fighting
- Gambling
- Pornographic materials
- Vandalism
- Threatening staff
Important:
Violation of hostel rules may result in disciplinary action, fines, or immediate expulsion depending on the severity of the offence.
Withdrawal
- One month advance notice is required.
- Return room keys before checkout.
- Remove all personal belongings.
- Late checkout may incur daily charges.
